What youll do
Lead the Electronics function atCMR, including line management for a team of highly capable engineers. Workingwith the Head of System Development, to ensure the Electronics teams organisationdesign and processes are optimised to deliver an ambitious product roadmap.
Develop, refine and own robustdevelopment practices that ensure consistent, reliable and high-quality compliantoutputs, drawing on your previous experience.
Collaborate with leaders and colleaguesin mechanical, software, systems, test, manufacturing and supply chain toevolve the system architecture and deliver well integrated modular solutions.
Lead and contribute to the designand development of electronic subsystems across power, digital, analogue,programmable logic and RF technologies.
Mentor and coach electronicsengineers, from junior to senior level, providing guidance on design practices,problem-solving, technical reviews and personal development.
Provide technical oversight andreview of relevant design artefacts, for example PCB, cable assembly and power system designsto ensure robustness, reliability and compliance.
Review technical documents,including specifications and test plans, that form part of the medical devicetechnical file.
Champion improvements to ways ofworking, lab facilities, equipment and tools to ensure the electronics team hasthe resources needed to deliver effectively.
Support recruitment, training, andretention of electronics engineers to support company growth and the functionsneeds.
