As a member of the Real Estate team, you secure and build places that support Waymonaut's environment and productivity. You deliver world class, cost-effective facilities to Waymonauts that prioritize well-being, while inspiring Waymonauts to do their best work while supporting our Operations teams across Europe.


In this Hybrid role you will report to the Global Head of Real Estate & Transactions


You will:




Develop and execute a real estate strategy that aligns with Waymo's long-term expansion plans. Lead, mentor, and manage the real estate team, including deal leads. Oversee the entire lifecycle of complex real estate transactions, from site selection and financial analysis to negotiation and execution, while also acting as an escalation point during the lifecycle of all real estate transactions, including build-out through the first day of business. Act as the regional real estate advisor to senior leadership and internal stakeholders, including Operations, Product, and Business Development, providing strategic guidance. Prepare and present comprehensive real estate strategies, site analyses, and deal summaries to executive leadership. Manage relationships and performance of key external partners, including brokers, landlords, developers, and service providers.

You have:




A minimum of 10 years of experience in commercial real estate, with a specialty in industrial operations. Highly proficient real estate acumen, including complex lease transactions, financial analysis, and portfolio management. Demonstrated leadership experience building, managing, and mentoring diverse teams of real estate professionals. Experience implementing and scaling charging infrastructure for an electric vehicle fleet, including a deep understanding of projects that require significant utility upgrades and engagement with power providers. Excellent communication, analytical, and presentation skills, with the ability to influence effectively across all organizational levels. Experience partnering closely with facilities, eMobility, and property management stakeholders.



We prefer




Automotive fleet or large-scale logistics operations experience. A track record of strategic program implementation within highly matrixed tech organizations. Experience managing global and/or executive-level stakeholders. Drive to work in a fast-paced, startup-like environment.



Travel requirements:




25-35% travel

The expected base salary range for this full-time position is listed below. Actual starting pay will be based on job-related factors, including exact work location, experience, relevant training and education, and skill level. Waymo employees are also eligible to participate in Waymo's discretionary annual bonus program, equity incentive plan, and generous Company benefits program, subject to eligibility requirements.


Salary Range
140,000--151,000 GBP
