with technical excellence, resilience, and security.
Drive the implementation and detailed solution design
based on the overall technical strategy, translating high-level vision into executable engineering roadmaps.
Define and enforce the technical standards, architectural patterns (
e.g., Microservices, Event-Driven Architecture
), and core technology stack, ensuring code quality and maintainability across all teams.
Be accountable for the technical due diligence and seamless integration of third-party payment platforms and middleware into the scalable B2B ecosystem.
Manage and optimize the use of cloud infrastructure (
IaaS/PaaS
), focusing on performance, cost efficiency, and operational resilience across all payment services.
Solutions Delivery & Engineering Leadership
Own the technical delivery process
, ensuring engineering teams meet velocity targets, manage technical debt effectively, and adhere to strict security and compliance requirements.
Oversee and conduct hands-on reviews of all major Solution Designs
for new products (e.g., new payment rails integration, treasury management tools) to guarantee architectural rigor and scalability.
Establish and champion engineering best practices related to code quality, automated testing, continuous integration/continuous deployment (
CI/CD
), and infrastructure-as-code (
IaC
).
Lead the technology function's resource planning, project management methodologies (e.g., Agile/Scrum), and delivery reporting.
Security, Risk, and Compliance
Work with security architects to
design and implement security controls
and architectural patterns that align with financial services regulations (e.g., data encryption, access controls).
Ensure all engineering operations and deployed code meet regulatory compliance standards (e.g., PSD2, GDPR, AML/KYC) relevant to cross-border B2B payments.
Engineering Organization & Team Building
