We're Clarus Technology, a company on a mission to improve pet health through cutting-edge data solutions. We're looking for a pragmatic, hands-on Head of Engineering to lead, build and scale our new data platform from the ground up.

What You'll Do

This isn't just a strategy role; it's a high-impact leadership position where you'll have real ownership. You'll be the key technical partner to our Director of Product, responsible for turning vision into a rock-solid reality.


Your mission will be to:

Lead the end-to-end delivery of our new, sophisticated pet data platform. Manage our large-scale offshore development partner, driving agile processes (Scrum, sprints) and ensuring top-quality, on-time delivery. Strategically build and scale our in-house UK engineering team, mentoring them into a world-class, collaborative function. Get hands-on with high-level architecture, complex third-party integrations and pragmatic problem-solving. We need a doer, not just a theorist!

Who You Are

You have a good number of years of engineering leadership under your belt and a proven track record of scaling teams and launching new B2B software products.

You have a solid background in modern tech stacks (ideally Microsoft Stack with React on the front end), distributed systems and domain-driven design.

You can easily bridge the gap between technical teams and business stakeholders.
