The Head of Enterprise Product will ensure robust plans are put in place partnering the Group, Digital, and Banner teams to ensure efficient and effective solutions and assuring that the technology roadmap is delivered at the right cost working seamlessly with the Group and Banner teams. The role will ensure the delivery of tech projects, take ownership of tech-driven business change alongside service quality and the management and optimisation of tech cost

What\'s the job?

  • Defines the Group functions\' product strategy and multi-year roadmap. Sets annual & quarterly prioritised Group functions product roadmap in line with business strategy and objectives
  • Prioritise group functions demand for new technology initiatives ahead of next planning cycle
  • Accountable for overall end-to-end product strategy, design, outcomes delivery, and retirement for Enterprise product domains
  • Partner as a functional expert to advise the group functions executive team on the strategic roadmap and technical decisions
  • Brings an outside-in perspective to lead Group best practice identification and sharing across Group and Banners
  • Crafting a product and agile culture in our ways of working and prioritisation
  • Balances cost and benefits for maximized value for Group and Banner teams
What you\'ll bring
  • Established experience and expertise across all the Product disciplines, including leading strategic direction & delivery of all stages of product management from discovery to retirement
  • Shown product management leader including delivering technical products in a hybrid legacy and cloud-based technology estate and multiple development approaches such as Agile, Waterfall, and Kanban/Scrum
  • Sound understanding of the technology industry, markets, trends, new technologies, and their implications for retail organisations
  • Shown experience in the successful delivery of large, scaled technical change in a matrixed organisation
  • A real ability to influence senior partners up to Group Directors
  • Deep understanding of and crafting alignment with the banner imperatives and service requirements of retail or similar organisations
  • Shown experience in building high-performance, delivery focused & data-driven product teams both with and without direct line management
  • Identify high-value opportunities for technology and data solutions, working in partnership with Architecture and Data Platform teams
  • Experience of working in a multi-national group environment with shown success of building effective ways of working between central and local teams; aligning action plans and facilitating sharing of best practice across multiple remote teams
  • Experience of working in an agile, fast-paced environment and crafting speed to value
  • Outstanding presentation and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey sophisticated commercial and technical challenges in a user-friendly way
