Are you a dynamic and experienced Head of Events ready to take the reins of an entire department? We're excited to be hiring for a senior leader to join our team and oversee the end-to-end delivery of our professional, high-energy driving experiences at 24 locations across the UK, where you'll take charge of our Southern locations.
As the leader of our events team, you'll be responsible for the seamless execution of over 250 events a year, managing large-scale operations and a freelance team of up to 100 people. This is a crucial role for a strategic thinker who can balance operational excellence, site safety and commercial success.
Key Responsibilities
Drive the overall vision for our events, ensuring professional, safe and commercially successful delivery of events across Southern locations.
Oversee all event logistics and on-site execution, guaranteeing the highest standards of safety, quality, professionalism.
Be the custodian of our on-event staff culture. You'll be responsible for the recruitment, retention, and performance of our large freelance teams, as well as the professional development of your in-house permanently employed Event Managers.
Key part of our senior leadership, you will report directly to the CEO/Chairman, providing key insights and contributing to the overall success of the business.
What We're Looking For
You have a minimum of 5 years' experience in events management, with at least 2 years in a senior leadership position.
A natural leader with a proven track record of managing concurrent events at different sites.
You possess a keen sense of budgeting, financial awareness, and are highly resilient under pressure.
You understand that sustainable change comes from strong processes and people management, not quick fixes.
You have excellent communication skills and an unwavering eye for detail.
A full UK driving licence is essential
Passion for the automotive industry or high performance vehicles is a big plus.
