About the Role
An exciting opportunity for an experienced Head of Events to lead the launch and oversee the ongoing operations of a brand-new event and hospitality space in Central London, opening in Autumn 2025. You'll play a pivotal role in shaping the identity and reputation of this new flagship space, from pre-opening planning through to delivering exceptional client experiences across a diverse range of events, including conferences, seated dinners, standing receptions, networking events, and more.
This is your chance to build something from the ground up, driving both operational excellence and commercial success. We're looking for someone with a passion for hospitality, strong operational expertise, and the confidence to lead client relationships at the highest level.
You'll have a meticulous eye for detail, remain calm under pressure, and consistently anticipate and exceed client expectations.

Key Responsibilities
Venue Launch & Pre-Opening
Lead operational planning to ensure the venue is fully prepared for a successful launch
Develop and implement operational systems, standards of practice, and service levels to the highest quality
Recruit, train, and onboard the venue team, creating a strong service-led culture from day one
Collaborate closely with Sales & Marketing to develop tailored event packages and pricing strategies, as well as supporting pre-opening campaigns and business development strategies.
Client Experience & Relationship Management
Build and nurture long-term relationships with clients and key accounts
Understand client goals and deliver tailored, high-impact event experiences
Act as a visible, approachable presence throughout events, anticipating needs and exceeding expectations
Create memorable moments that surprise and delight guests
Monitor feedback and continuously improve service delivery and guest experience
Event Operations & Delivery
Manage the full lifecycle of events, from sales handover to flawless execution
Lead on-site day to day hospitality operations, ensuring seamless setup, delivery, and breakdown
Serve as the main point of contact for clients, suppliers, and internal teams o
Coordinate staffing, technical requirements, and supplier logistics
Maintain exceptional customer service standards, acting as an ambassador for the venue at all times
Ensure full compliance with allergen regulations, health, and food safety standards
Creativity & Innovation
Elevate events with creative, thoughtful touches that set the venue apart
Work collaboratively to identify opportunities to enhance offerings and improve efficiencies
Stay informed on industry trends and innovations to keep the venue competitive and forward-thinking
Leadership & Teamwork
Lead and inspire the team, setting the highest standards for service and teamwork
Foster cross-functional collaboration and build positive relationships with clients, suppliers, the wider logistics team, and the Head of Food
Support staff development through regular coaching, performance monitoring, and training
Commercial & Strategic
Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and revenue reporting to meet and exceed financial targets
Optimise operational and food costs while maintaining high quality and minimising waste
Collaborate with the Sales & Marketing team to identify new opportunities, packages, partnerships, and identify upselling opportunities to drive commercial growth
Required Skills and Qualifications
Experience:
A strong track record of managing end-to-end event operations, ideally with experience launching a new venue or contributing to pre-opening projects.
Organisation:
Outstanding organisational abilities with a structured, methodical approach.
Creativity:
A flair for delivering innovative, bespoke touches that elevate the guest experience.
Attention to Detail:
Meticulous in execution, ensuring every element of an event is considered and delivered flawlessly.

A proactive mindset, always anticipating client needs and committed to delivering exceptional service.
Leadership:
Natural leadership skills with the ability to motivate, support, and develop a high-performing team.

Proficient in managing budgets, forecasting, and financial reporting.
