About the role
The Finance team is the beating heart of our operations. At Revolut, finance goes far beyond number crunching -- it's a strategic function essential to our crypto journey in Cyprus.
We're looking for a Head of Finance to join our Cyprus entity, Revolut Digital Assets Europe LTD. Our Crypto Asset Service Providing entity, regulated under CySEC with registration number 001/22 and currently serving all Revolut's clients across the EEA. This person will be the cornerstone of all finance-related regulatory and statutory responsibilities in Cyprus, ensuring full compliance with CySEC, the Central Bank, and other authorities.
You'll lead regulatory reporting, tax compliance, capital adequacy monitoring, and external audit management -- all while maintaining pristine books and records. If you're hands-on, compliance-savvy, and eager to shape the future of crypto finance in Cyprus, this is the role for you.
What you'll be doing
Preparing and submitting financial reports to CySEC, the Central Bank of Cyprus, and other local regulators
Leading the production of Capital Adequacy Reports in collaboration with the Risk team
Managing the year-end audit process, liaising with external auditors to ensure timely and compliant financial statements
Overseeing Corporate Income Tax (CIT) and VAT filings in partnership with external tax advisors and internal teams
Maintaining accurate books and records, including balance sheet reconciliations and complete ledger entries
Implementing and monitoring internal controls aligned with group policy and local regulatory requirements
Providing financial insights and ad hoc reports to internal stakeholders (e.g., Legal, Group Finance, Risk, Operations)
Acting as the main point of contact for finance-related matters with CySEC, the Central Bank, and tax authorities
What you'll need
7+ years of experience in a finance role, ideally in a banking or financial services environment
Chartered Accountant qualification, trained in a reputable practice
Excellent accounting knowledge with experience in regulatory and statutory reporting
Excellent attention to detail with the ability to unravel complex financial queries
In-depth knowledge of CySEC regulations and Cyprus financial reporting standards
Ability to communicate financial information clearly to external and internal stakeholders
A self-starter mindset with the ability to work independently and proactively
Top-tier organizational, planning, and time management skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
Nice to have
Experience in crypto or fintech
Familiarity with MiCA and evolving EU crypto regulations
Knowledge of IFRS and consolidation principles
Hands-on experience with ERP or automation tools (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Power BI)
Exposure to transfer pricing and intercompany arrangements
Strong data analysis or SQL skills for generating financial insights
