Job Summary


The Head of Finance (HoF) is a key member of the executive leadership team, responsible for overseeing the company's financial strategy, planning, risk management, and reporting, ensuring robust financial governance, accurate reporting, and efficient financial processes.

Reporting directly to the Director of the Estate, the post holder acts as a key strategic partner, providing high-level financial guidance, analysis, and oversight. This includes leading on budgeting, financial planning, audit, and statutory compliance, as well as supporting commercial decision-making and long-term financial sustainability.

The HoF ensures that financial operations are efficient, transparent, and aligned with the objectives of the company.

Responsibilities



Oversee all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting. Develop and implement financial strategies that align with the company's goals. Manage financial accounting processes to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations. Provide leadership to the finance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development. Analyse financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for the organisation. Prepare detailed financial reports for senior management and stakeholders. Ensure effective cash flow management and optimise working capital. Liaise with external auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory bodies as necessary.

Requirements



Proven experience in a senior finance role with a strong background in financial management. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively. In-depth knowledge of financial accounting principles and practices within the financial services sector. Strong leadership capabilities with experience in managing teams. Exceptional analytical skills with a focus on detail-oriented decision-making. Ability to communicate complex financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders. Relevant qualifications in finance or accounting (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA) are preferred.

Pay: 60,000.00-70,000.00 per year
