We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Finance to lead our financial department in our hotel operation. This pivotal role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership abilities and extensive knowledge in financial management and accounting. The Head of Finance will be responsible for overseeing all financial operations, ensuring the organisation's financial health, and providing insightful analysis to support decision-making.

Duties

Lead and manage the finance team, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration. Develop and implement financial strategies that align with the organisation's goals. Oversee financial accounting processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations. Prepare and present financial reports to senior management and stakeholders. Manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities to optimise resources. Conduct thorough analysis of financial data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement. Ensure effective cash flow management and oversee investment strategies. Collaborate with other departments to support organisational objectives through sound financial practices. Maintain relationships with external auditors, banks, and other financial institutions.

Requirements

Proven leadership experience in a finance role within the financial services sector. Hotel experience and understanding of hotel systems Strong background in financial management and accounting principles. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively. Proficient in financial software systems and advanced Excel skills. Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective stakeholder engagement. Ability to work collaboratively across departments while maintaining a strategic focus.
