The role of the Head of Finance is to oversee the day-to-day processes of the Finance Department, enabling accurate financial decisions to be made in line with the objectives of the charity.

Objectives

?Produce accurate and timely reporting to aid with decision making across the Foundation and Nest. ?Lead on the annual audit and all external reporting as required. ?Support key stakeholders, SLT and the exec team with internal finance requirements and advice.

Knowledge, skills and experience - essential



Excellent organisation skills Qualified in either ACCA/ACA/CIMA High level of numeracy Knowledge of charity accounting requirements Understanding of payroll processes Experience of preparing management accounts Excellent IT skills including Excel and Word Experience with data analysis and variance reporting

Knowledge, skills and experience - desirable



Strong understanding of finance systems Experience of working as part of a small finance team
