The Role
To lead and manage the Finance team of the Charity ensuring good charity financial practice, producing robust financial reports and financial forecasts as well as providing timely provision of financial information to the Finance Director and the Executive Leadership Team.
You will provide the Finance team with the guidance, coaching and support to enable them to perform effectively. You will collaborate and work with the Heads of Service and other budget holders across the Charity to inform them on performance against budgets, guide them in forecasting and budgeting and support with contract bids.

Financial Year End Process.
Leadership and Development.
What We are Looking For
Have a degree and/or equivalent qualification in Accountancy.
Undertake training and continuing professional development.
Able to strategically plan and monitor all financial matters and implement plans to achieve continual improvement.
Manage time effectively and deliver actions to tight deadlines.
Demonstrate an ability to network and build professional working relationships internally and externally.
Demonstrate an ability to prepare, communicate, and present financial reports.
Experience of line management and developing a team using approaches that are empowering.
Excellent Microsoft excel skills with the ability to use pivot tables and other function to analyse large sets of data.
Experience of managing a finance function.
Car driver essential with access to road worthy vehicle and business insurance
