As

Head of Finance

at Net World Sports, you'll take on a broad remit, providing financial leadership, strategic insight, and operational ownership across all areas of the finance function. Bringing strong commercial acumen and technical expertise, you'll ensure robust financial control while enabling informed decision-making to support the company's ambitious growth journey.

This is a hands-on leadership position that blends strategy with delivery - you'll be as comfortable producing accurate financial reporting as you are advising on long-term investments, forecasting future performance, managing companywide P&L, and driving profitability through data-led insight.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

Lead and develop the finance function, fostering a high-performance culture through strong people and team management Own financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes, ensuring alignment with company strategy and market trends Manage full Profit & Loss accountability, year-end accounts, and statutory reporting, ensuring compliance and accuracy across UK and international entities Oversee tax planning and compliance, working with external advisors where necessary to optimise efficiency across multiple jurisdictions (EU/US) Produce and present weekly management accounts and performance reports to the senior leadership team Attend regular senior management meetings, contributing to operational and strategic decisions across the business Communicate key financial decisions and priorities to your direct reports, ensuring clarity, alignment, and implementation across the team Oversee cash flow management, cost control, and expenditure governance Support commercial decision-making with data modelling, profitability analysis, and scenario planning Lead finance input into system and process upgrades, including ERP management (ideally Microsoft Dynamics NAV), ensuring automation and strong internal controls Identify, design, and implement process improvements to enhance financial efficiency, accuracy, and scalability Partner with department heads to deliver company-wide objectives and initiatives Champion our values of pace, innovation, and high standards across the finance team

WHAT YOU'LL BRING:

Proven experience in a senior finance role with responsibility for P&L, forecasting, and year-end reporting Strong experience managing or implementing ERP systems -- Microsoft Dynamics NAV experience highly advantageous Exposure to international markets (EU/US or equivalent), with an understanding of cross-border tax considerations Qualified with strong technical accounting knowledge Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and challenge constructively Experience in building or leading high-performing teams, with a people-first approach Strong grasp of tax compliance, statutory filings, and financial governance A "doer" mentality -- highly organised, proactive, and accountable Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a commercial mindset Resilience under pressure and the ability to balance competing priorities Energy, presence, and the confidence to operate as a key voice within a senior leadership team
