We're looking for a Head of Financial Planning and Analysis to lead this critical function. This is more than a finance role - it's an opportunity to shape the financial future of one of the UK's most respected charities, ensuring every pound raised is used to maximum effect.

Your impact:

As a key member of the Finance and Corporate Services leadership team, you will:


Lead the RNLI's financial planning activities, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial modelling. Provide expert financial insight to support strategic decision-making across the organisation. Manage and inspire a team of finance professionals and business partners to deliver high-quality analysis and reporting. Collaborate closely with the CFO and senior leaders to shape and deliver the RNLI's financial strategy. Drive continuous improvement in financial processes, systems, and reporting to enhance efficiency and transparency.

What you bring:

A recognised accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with significant post-qualification experience in FP&A or commercial finance. A proven track record in financial planning, complex modelling, and business partnering within a large or complex organisation. Strong leadership skills with the ability to develop and motivate high-performing teams. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to influence at Executive and Board level. A proactive, strategic mindset with the ability to balance detail with big-picture thinking.
