  • Annual salary of \xc2\xa350,000 - \xc2\xa355,000 (FTE)
  • Permanent role
  • Full-time (35 hours), Monday-Friday, Flexible Hours
  • Liverpool City Centre Office Base (3 days minimum in the office) - 2 days hybrid working across the North-West

The role

As Head of Funding, Compliance and MI, you will have full responsibility for ensuring the end-to-end compliance of learner data is processed in line with ESFA funding guidance. You will manage the Funding and Compliance Team, ensuring business processes and funding generation is compliant and maximised. You will also be responsible for leading the compliance processing and funding claims functions, ensuring that all working practices are in line with both regulatory requirements and internal policies, ensuring that learners attracting Apprenticeship, AEB, Study Programme and Skills Bootcamp funding have accurate documentation to support individual funding claims, along with the corresponding learner data is submitted to relative funding bodies and regulators, driving accurate and compliant funding claims across all funding streams.

The right fit
  • Educated to degree level or equivalent
  • Previous experience in an Audit/MIS role
  • Experience of PICs, MAYTAS and other various data systems
  • In-depth knowledge of ESFA Funded programmes such as Apprenticeships levy and non-levy, Adult Skills Budget, Study Programme and Skills Bootcamps
  • Knowledge and experience of dealing with external awarding organisations
  • Highly numerate and analytical
  • Good understanding of OFSTED inspection processes
  • An analytical and inquisitive mind
  • Highly organised and strong attention to detail
  • Good team player, contributing to your own and team performance
  • Excellent IT skills
  • Experience of Power Bi or Microsoft azure dashboard development
