We are currently recruiting for an exciting position within our organisation as Head of Governance, Risk and Compliance. Your role will be to provide high-level leadership across the team of five. Supporting across the organisation with a focus on the role-holder having regulatory compliance expertise whilst supporting risk and governance activities in the team.
This is a permanent, full time position.

About the role
Work with senior leadership colleagues in the business to deliver organisational objectives and manage risks.
Lead, coach and develop the Clinical Governance team in the provision of excellent patient safety and clinical effectiveness services.
Lead and be responsible for day-to-day delivery and management of the Governance, Risk & Compliance functions
To ensure that there are robust frameworks and reporting for both Risk / Incident Management and Compliance is in place, monitored and reviewed
Act as a visible leader across both the Hospital but also establishing strong links with the Society
Support timely regulatory reporting
Be an ambassador for and promote an open and inclusive culture
Skills and experience required
Qualified to degree level or equivalent
Strong senior experience in clinical governance and compliance with ability to work within statutory requirements and frameworks.
Resilient and shows persistence in pursuing goals despite obstacles and setbacks, maintaining personal effectiveness, understanding the impact and implications of decisions on the department, keeps abreast of developments and trends relevant to role.
Experienced in leading a team of autonomous roles, to move forward toward the completion of goals, recognising and actively promoting team development and success.
Experienced at building relationships with key stakeholders, internal and external customers.
