Head of Grounds

to lead the maintenance, presentation, and development of our outdoor spaces.

This is a hands-on role ideal for someone with expertise in horticulture, landscaping and grounds management, who takes pride in creating immaculate, inspiring environments.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee the day-to-day maintenance and upkeep of all outdoor areas, gardens, lawns and landscaping. Develop and implement seasonal planting, landscaping and grounds improvement plans. Ensure all areas meet the highest standards for events, photoshoots and general presentation. Maintain and manage groundskeeping equipment, ensuring safety and efficiency. Coordinate with the events and operations teams to prepare grounds for weddings and other special events.

What We're Looking For:

Proven experience in grounds management, horticulture, or landscaping, ideally within hospitality, events or luxury estates. Strong team leadership skills, with the ability to manage, motivate and develop staff. Hands-on knowledge of gardening, turf care, pruning, planting and general landscaping techniques. Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to plan seasonal schedules and manage multiple tasks. Passion for creating and maintaining immaculate, visually stunning outdoor spaces. Ability to work flexibly around events, including early mornings and occasional evenings & weekends. Awareness of health and safety regulations and ability to ensure compliance within the team.
