Cinch Storage is a growing Self-Storage business with 25 locations and a strong pipeline for future expansion. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced

Head of HR

to lead our people strategy, ensuring our HR function is scalable, compliant, and supportive of our ambitious growth plans.

Based primarily in our

Hammersmith

office, this role is crucial for advising the Senior Leadership Team and developing the HR infrastructure that will define our culture and performance.

1. Strategic HR Leadership & Senior Advisory



Strategic Leadership:

Develop and implement a people strategy that directly supports Cinch Storage's business objectives and growth trajectory.

Senior Advisory:

Act as a trusted advisor to the

Senior Leadership Team (SLT) and operational management team

on complex employee relations - including the management of all casework up to and including dismissals and appeals, as well as providing expert guidance on TUPE, organisational design, succession planning, and people-related risk management.

2. HR Systems, Data & Analytics



Systems Implementation:

Lead the evaluation, selection, and implementation of robust

HR Information Systems (HRIS)

to streamline processes (e.g., onboarding, record-keeping, payroll integration).

HR Analytics & Reporting:

Establish and maintain key

HR metrics and dashboards

(e.g., turnover, time-to-hire, employee engagement scores) to provide actionable insights to the SLT.

With the support of a third party payroll provider, oversee the full monthly payroll cycle,

including the accurate and timely preparation, validation and submission of all payroll data -

3. Total Rewards & Well-being



Compensation and Benefits:

ensure competitive and fair pay structures across all locations and roles.

Performance & Reward Linkage:

Ensure reward schemes are directly linked to performance outcomes and market benchmarking.

4. Training, Performance, and Compliance



Training & Development:

Design and roll out effective

training and development programmes

for both site-based teams and leadership, focusing on management capabilities, compliance, and skills gap analysis.

Absence Monitoring:

Implement clear and compliant policies and systems for

absence monitoring and management

, proactively addressing patterns to reduce operational impact across the 25+ sites.

Compliance:

Ensure full legal and statutory compliance across all UK HR activities, policies, and contracts.

Essential Requirements

Experience:

Proven experience as a senior HR leader (Head of HR, HR Manager, or HR Business Partner) in a

multi-site, distributed environment

(e.g., retail, logistics, hospitality).

Qualification:

CIPD Level 5

qualification or equivalent experience mandatory.

Technical:

Highly proficient in the use of

Microsoft 365

applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Teams). Experience in implementing or migrating HRIS is highly desirable.

Location:

Ability to be

office-based in Hammersmith

for the majority of the working week.

Knowledge:

Deep expertise in UK employment law and best practice, particularly related to employee relations and performance management.

Numerical & Payroll:

Strong numerical skills (essential), with experience of managing payroll processes considered desirable.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 70,000.00-80,000.00 per year
