The Head of the Inclusive Education Hub Lead will establish and coordinate a new central hub within Education Services, providing expert guidance and consultancy to departments and faculties on inclusive curriculum design and pedagogy. The Hub is supported by a significant philanthropic donation, enabling a two-year pilot phase to design, test, and deliver scalable, evidence-based approaches to inclusive education.
The Hub will act as a focal point for expertise, guidance, and practical tools, translating recommendations from the Teaching and Disability Reviews along with commitments made in the Access and Participation Plan into practical, scalable actions and supporting the broader implementation of inclusive education practices across the collegiate university.
This is a strategic, collaborative role offering an exciting opportunity to shape institutional practice in one of the University's key priority areas working closely with academic departments, professional services, and where appropriate the Colleges. The philanthropically funded pilots co-ordinated through the hub will aid a greater understanding of the disciplinary and resourcing implications to successfully embed inclusive educational practice within our educational model. Each pilot will test potential innovations, identify barriers or challenges, and build case for institutional change.
The Postholder will lead the operationalisation of the Inclusive Education Hub, co-ordinating expert input from across Education Services and other institutional teams. They will provide specialist consultancy to departments and faculties in support of inclusive curriculum design, pedagogical practices and policy development.
We are looking for a thoughtful and collaborative leader who combines strategic vision with a hands-on approach to delivery. You will bring deep understanding of inclusive educational whether through pedagogy, curriculum design, or student support and the confidence to translate principles into practice across diverse disciplinary contexts.
An excellent communicator and natural relationship-builder, you will be skilled at bringing people together around shared goals, navigating complexity with diplomacy and clarity.
This role will suit someone who thrives on turning ideas into tangible change, working collaboratively to embed inclusive educational practice across the Collegiate University.
