Job Description

We are seeking a talented and creative Head of Interior Design to become an integral part of our dynamic and friendly team at our studio in Weybridge, Surrey.

We offer a range of different services from architectural design and services, spatial planning and interior-fit out to onsite coordination across Surrey and Southwest London.

Candidates will need a proven and demonstrable experience managing the design and delivery of high-quality projects from concept through to completion. Candidates need to professional, highly creative, passionate, organised, self-motivated and have the ability to work both independently and within a team.

This is a full time position working from our studio in Weybridge with the option of working from home on Fridays after a successful probation period. Please only apply if you live within 30 mins of our studio.

Key Responsibilities & Skills



Leadership & Mentorship:

Lead, guide, and inspire a team of interior designers.

Train, and conduct performance reviews for design staff.

Foster a collaborative and creative studio culture.

Design & Project Management:

Oversee all project stages: concept, development, documentation, and implementation.

Set the overall design direction, ensuring quality, consistency, and innovation.

Review and sign off on all design work, drawings, and specifications.

Client & Stakeholder Management:

Serve as the senior client contact, building strong relationships.

Present concepts, gather feedback, and ensure client satisfaction.

Coordinate seamlessly with our in-house architects, contractors, suppliers, and other professionals.

Business Development & Strategy:

Contribute to new business, proposals, pitches, and marketing initiatives.

Manage project budgets, timelines, and departmental profitability.

Stay updated on industry trends, materials, and technologies.

Qualifications



Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or related field. Extensive experience (10+ years) with a strong portfolio in high-end residential projects. Proficiency in SketchUp, AutoCAD, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator) and EstiPC. Exceptional communication, presentation, and client relationship skills. Deep understanding of technical documentation, and construction processes.

Pay: 50,000.00-60,000.00 per year
