Siemens Healthineers is looking for a Head of Laboratory Solutions (LS) Product Environmental Protection (PEP) to provide global strategic and hands-on leadership to the PEP Department for Siemens Healthcare Diagnostics, Inc. This full-time remote role can be based in Ireland, the UK, or Germany.

As a Head of Laboratory Solutions, you will maintain awareness of global changes in laws, regulations and standards affecting PEP-related topics (e.g. REACH, RoHS, EU CLP, extended producer responsibility, EcoDesign, etc.)

In this role you can expect to:

• Manage/supervise personnel with respect to project resources
• Coordinate efforts to understand and inform implementation of PEP regulations and standards
• Oversee project deadlines and budget while considering the financial goals of the company and the needs of internal and external customers
• Provide timely updates to the management team to ensure the business can adequately plan for implementation of any PEP-related standards or new legal requirements

To apply for this Head of Laboratory Solutions role, you will need:

• A degree in environment, health, safety, or related engineering/scientific areas, along with several years of experience in the field
• Expertise in a variety of healthcare field concepts, practices, and procedures, including experience in GMP, GLP and/or GCP
• Proven extensive manufacturing and product operational experience to plan and accomplish goals
• Experience working and collaborating with representatives from both internal and external organisations
• The ability and experience to relate well and establish credibility with senior leadership
