Head of Market Operations - Energy Supply

What you will do


Provide strategic direction and operational management for the Market Operations team Oversee customer onboarding, metering, settlement, and reconciliation processes for both gas and electricity Drive continuous improvement in departmental processes and systems Manage relationships with industry bodies and third-party service providers Ensure compliance with industry codes and performance standards Lead the implementation of SMART/AMR meter rollouts and DCC compliance Develop and monitor key performance indicators for operational excellence Support proposition development and tender responses from a Market Operations perspective Optimize costs while maintaining high-quality service delivery



What you will bring to the role


Be an experienced professional with a strong background in energy industry processes A strategic thinker with excellent people leadership and development skills Possess a deep understanding of gas and electricity market operations Be a problem-solver with a track record of process improvement and innovation Have advanced Microsoft Office skills and budget management experience A communicator capable of negotiating successful outcomes internally and externally Ideally, you will hold a degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant field You have experience in senior-level stakeholder management
