The role



We are looking for a Head of Marketing & Creative Services who will play a pivotal role leading our marketing, creative, and digital services, turning behavioural insight into standout campaigns that improve lives and generate measurable impact.

Your role within that will be the conductor of our creative studio's daily rhythm. You will oversee design, content, video, and digital; orchestrate resourcing and workflow; champion quality, accessibility, and brand coherence; and lead integrated, multi-channel campaigns that deliver measurable impact.

Your craft will bring clarity, creativity, and momentum to the work that helps communities live healthier and happier lives.

You will work as part of a fast paced, agile, creative organisation. You will be expected to drive and have access to a car. You will also be expected to travel to other ICE offices from time to time.

Salary Range: 44,000 - 50,000 per annum.

Key elements of the day-to-day role:



The role will involve:

Client Services & Account Management:



Act as the key point of contact for clients, building trusted relationships and ensuring delivery of high-quality and measurable outcomes.

Translate client objectives into actionable, insight?led marketing and creative campaigns and programmes, with clear KPIs and evaluation reports.

Facilitate clear, consistent communication between clients and internal teams, ensuring seamless collaboration and issue resolution, managing resources/budgets and schedules of work.

Identify opportunities for account growth, support proposals, tenders, and business development activities.

Marketing & Creative Services Operations:



Lead the end?to?end creative services workflow: briefing, scoping, resourcing, scheduling, team workflow management, QA and sign?off process.

Oversee production across formats (digital, print, experiential), ensuring accessibility, inclusivity and brand consistency.

Manage suppliers/freelancers/associate ensuring they deliver to ICE standards and brand level.

Manage client/programme budgets ensuring ROI for clients and ICE.

ICE Growth & Brand Development:



Plan and deliver integrated, multi?channel campaigns (PR, paid search, paid/organic social, SEO/SEM, email, web content) that achieve measurable impact and general revenue opportunities across ICE services.

Lead the creation of ICE narratives, thought leadership, and press materials; contribute to awards submissions and events that elevate ICE's profile.

Design pitch assets and support bid writing, ensuring insight?led storytelling and clear value propositions.

Stay up to date with developments across ICE's core sectors and ensure we are positioning the brand in the best way to maximise revenue generation.

Leadership & Collaborations



Line manage and develop the Marketing & Design Services Team and the Digital Services Team.

Work collaboratively across ICE to deliver integrated, behaviour?change campaigns.

Contribute to internal communications; supporting colleagues across ICE to ensure key messages and team engagement is strong.

Essential existing skills/experience



Recognised Marketing Qualification

Business Development

Agency background - strong client management skills Understanding of behaviour change concepts and techniques

Stakeholder management and business development, with sales/growth outcomes

End?to?end integrated campaigns (planning, creation, delivery, evaluation)

PR/outreach; bid/pitch support.

managing creative operations (traffic, resourcing, QA).

Relationship?builder; self?starter; strong communication, influencing and negotiation; excellent writing/presenting/reporting; problem?solver with sound decision?making; commercial awareness (budgeting/margins).

Bid writing and presentation, generating new sales leads and growth opportunities

Ability to manage your own work and deliver across multiple projects. Excellent attention to detail and time management skills. A collaborative mindset and willingness to learn and grow. Comfortable with a hybrid working model (a mix of office and home-based).
Experience in using Zoom, Microsoft Teams, and other digital platforms.

Desirable:



CIM/IDM; training in accessibility/inclusive design; Agile or service?design methods.

Public?sector/NHS or health marketing; behaviour change/social marketing.

Experience with marketing automation/CRM.

Experience mentoring creative teams; comfort with hybrid client/office working.
