Our client is a fast-growing global SaaS company with over 100,000 users worldwide. As they continue to scale, they're seeking a Head of Marketing to join on a 6-8 month maternity cover contract. This is a unique opportunity to make a tangible impact in a dynamic, technology-led environment, all while working remotely.
You'll have ownership of key initiatives such as HubSpot optimisation, multi-channel campaigns, and the launch of a new US-based brand, all with the freedom and support to succeed.
The Role
As Head of Marketing, you will lead and oversee all marketing initiatives across acquisition, retention, and brand engagement. You'll be hands-on in campaign planning, HubSpot implementation, reporting, and team coordination, while also playing a strategic role with the executive team.
This is a hands-on leadership position ideal for a marketing generalist, with strong experience in subscription-based or SaaS businesses.
Key Responsibilities
Campaign Strategy & Execution:
Plan and deliver multi-channel campaigns to drive traffic, free trials, conversions, and customer retention.
Retention Marketing:
Design campaigns that boost engagement, customer lifetime value, and reduce churn through educational and value-driven content.
HubSpot Ownership:
Lead the rollout and optimisation of HubSpot (Marketing, Sales & Content Hubs) across automation, customer journeys, and lead nurturing.
Paid Media Management:
Oversee a sizable paid media budget, managing in-house campaigns across Google, LinkedIn, and Meta platforms.
Reporting & Analytics
: Deliver weekly performance reports with actionable insights. Track and benchmark against competitors to guide strategy.
Team & Stakeholder Management:
Oversee internal marketing team, contractors, and agencies. Collaborate with the development and support teams to align messaging and ensure consistency.
Content & Messaging
: Guide content development across blog, email, and social media platforms, ensuring clarity, brand voice, and high quality. Canva and Adobe design skills are a bonus!
Website:
Own the website's content and visual direction, coordinating updates with external partners to ensure brand alignment.
Influencer Marketing:
Support influencer strategy in collaboration with the Digital Marketing Executive
Team Collaboration
: Work cross-functionally with product and support teams to ensure cohesive messaging and user experience. Work with external influencers and affiliates, ensuring alignment with brand goals and campaign objectives.
Executive Team Collaboration:
Report directly to the CEO and Board, contributing to business strategy and providing updates on marketing KPIs and campaign success.
New Product and Brand Launch:
Support the delivery, messaging and acquisition strategy of a newly created SaaS product within the company, but within the same industry.
About You
Demonstrable experience in a Multi-Channel Marketing role (web, social, email, SEM) including hands on experience in data driven, execution and strategic capacities in a more senior position
Strong command of
HubSpot
Marketing module for CRM and analytics.
Managing end-to-end marketing campaigns across email, paid, and organic channels.
Proven experience and results of social media, content management and publishing, influencer management, media buying and ongoing optimization
Prove experience in Retention Marketing and customer segmentation including campaign management, analytics and Retention Marketing & Customer Segmentation
Search Engine Marketing (SEM) performance marketing preferred
Nice to have: SEO strategy, execution or management, especially in working with third party agency
Highly analytical, with the ability to turn data and data analysis into insight and action for a data driven environment
Excellent communicator with exceptional attention to detail.
Comfortable working autonomously in a fully remote environment.

Core working hours are between 11am to 4pm, Moday to Friday
Must be available to work within these core hours.
Your working hours outside of core hours can be worked any time between 8.30am to 6pm
