Head Of Marketing Music (maternity Cover)

Saxmundham, ENG, GB, United Kingdom

Job Description

Britten Pears Arts (BPA) is a pioneering Music & Arts based charity, situated on the beautiful Suffolk coast, working across a wide range of activities. Music-related charitable work includes Artist Development, a year-round Performance Programme, Music in the Community and Creative Health and our Living Heritage Museum and Archive at The Red House.

Our mission is to use Music, Arts & Heritage to transform people's lives for the better, to bring communities together and effect positive social change. BPA continues to follow in the footsteps of founders Britten and Pears, inspired by their goal to make the arts useful and available to all. At our two internationally recognised cultural destinations, Snape Maltings and The Red House, we create vibrant, uplifting and life-enhancing experiences for visitors, customers and audiences alike. We deliver this vision through our remarkable people and brilliant inclusive teams, working together with a sense of purpose.

This is a key role within the organisation and an exceptional opportunity for an insight-led, commercially astute and inspiring creative marketeer to join our lively and dynamic team, rooted in Suffolk with a national and international reach.

You will be a seasoned marketeer with a proven track record of delivering high performing digital-led marketing campaigns. With experience ideally gained in a relevant sector (arts/heritage/destination), you will be comfortable inspiring and leading a team to deliver a rich multifaceted programme across a calendar year. Your skills will include digital-first marketing, strategic thinking with agile delivery. You will be very comfortable to hit the ground running and will be motivated to drive engagement with audiences, promoting our diverse range of charitable work and performance programmes. As a leader, you will enjoy nurturing a dynamic team and be comfortable to quickly develop strong cross-organisational working relationships, to drive the impact required in line with the business plan.

We are an equal opportunities employer and believe that diversity strengthens and enriches us. We positively encourage applications from suitably qualified and eligible candidates of all ages and from all backgrounds, in particular from minority ethnic backgrounds and disabled candidates who are currently under-represented at Britten Pears Arts.

The role is Suffolk-based with limited scope for hybrid working. This is a full-time maternity cover. 0.8FTE could be considered depending on experience. Our proposed start date is November, although we understand this may vary depending on candidate suitability.
