Loreto High School is seeking a passionate leader of Mathematics to join our dedicated team. This role offers the opportunity to inspire students and contribute to the development of the Quality of Education within a high achieving and supportive department focused on improving teaching practice and student outcomes.
We maintain high standards of behaviour and foster an inclusive environment for all students, supporting those pursuing higher education and those with special educational needs. Staff are expected to uphold the school's ethos and reinforce policies on conduct and courtesy. We encourage involvement in co-curricular activities to support students' development beyond the classroom.
The Mathematics department at Loreto consistently support students to achieve significantly above the national and local averages in 9-4 and 9-5.. Maths is an extremely popular subject in the school and we also offer Further Maths at GCSE. The successful candidate will be joining a supportive and enthusiastic department whose priority is improving both their own practice and outcomes for our students.
