About the Role and You



Contract type

: Permanent, Full Time including Three Saturdays and Prep evening duties a term as well as

parents' evenings

Your main responsibilities will include:



Lead and deliver a dynamic MFL curriculum with a focus on Spanish Teach Spanish across KS3-KS5 with engaging and high-quality lessons Oversee MFL entries in local and national language competitions Manage and support staff development through CPD and performance reviews Use data to track progress, raise attainment, and inform planning Promote MFL through clubs, trips, and wider co-curricular activities Support whole-school literacy and numeracy initiatives Collaborate with marketing and admissions to enhance student recruitment Maintain a strong media presence for MFL (Twitter, SOCS, newsletters) Ensure high standards of safeguarding, behaviour, and pastoral care To set high expectations for all pupils, to deepen their knowledge and understanding and to maximise their achievement.

The ideal candidate should:



A QTS with a relevant qualification in Spanish or French or Drama. PGCE is and advantage. Be able to teach GCSE and A-Level Be an outstanding classroom practitioner and a leader. Have the energy, passion, and drive to raise standards. Have initiative, vision, excellent planning, and organisational skills. Have experience of working with students with SEMH and additional needs. Have knowledge and understanding of developments in education.
