Key Responsibilities:



Strategy, leadership & Culture



oWork closely with the Managing Director & board to support strategic planning, annual business priorities, and operational execution. Chair internal meetings and ensure actions, decisions, and priorities are communicated clearly and delivered across all teams. Champion BSG's culture, ensuring a supportive, high-performance environment where advisers, paraplanners, and administrators can thrive. Drive internal communication to keep the team aligned on goals, expectations, and performance.

Operations



Oversee daily operations to ensure efficiency and compliance with FCA regulations. Implement process improvements to enhance client experience and operational performance. Manage resource allocation, budgeting, and reporting for operational activities. Monitor KPIs such as operational cost reduction, employee workloads, and client satisfaction. Lead optimisation of systems and technology (e.g. CRM, workflows, reporting) to improve efficiency, data, and scalability. Manage the relationship between BSG and the network we operate within' as a bullet point within the Ops section?

Business Development



Help advisers identify and pursue new business opportunities within the financial advice sector. Work with advisers to increase productivity, consistency, and client capacity by improving workflows and support structures. Work with our Head of the Client Support Team to ensure efficient delivery of service to advisers. Oversee staff personal development Develop and implement growth strategies to increase client acquisition and revenue. Prepare and deliver proposals, presentations, and team meetings Build and maintain relationships with key external partners, introducers, and service providers to support growth and operations Lead and deliver cross-business strategic projects (e.g. new service offerings, system upgrades, regulatory updates, client experience improvements and business acquisition integrations)

Required Skills & Competencies



Leadership and team management experience. Ability to evaluate and improve business systems, data, reporting, and automation. Excellent interpersonal skills Understanding of HR law and changes Strong understanding of financial services, including investments, pensions, and insurance (preferred but not essential) Real attention to detail. Proven ability to negotiate and manage strategic partnerships. Proficiency in CRM systems and operational tools. Adaptability to changing market and regulatory environments. Track record of driving growth and improving operational efficiency.

WHAT IS THE SALARY?



In addition to the benefits stated above your starting salary will be based on experience and potential within the range of 75,000 to 85,000. We will review your contribution to the success of the business annually and reward accordingly. We offer you the chance to grow and develop and be as brilliant as you want to be. Options for part-time. The role is primarily office based with some flexibility for remote working 1 day a week.

Pay: 75,000.00-85,000.00 per year
