What You'll Be Doing
This is currently a standalone leadership role, working closely with the CEO and Trustees. You'll contribute to funding applications, fundraising, and financial planning to support future growth. As we expand, you'll help shape and build the operations function in line with need and funding.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead governance, finance, and compliance functions, including financial reporting, charity law compliance, audits, and risk management.
Oversee internal systems, policies, workflows, and digital infrastructure while developing scalable processes for growth.
Drive external engagement through digital marketing and in-person outreach.
Lead income generation operations across grants, trusts, corporate partnerships, and individual giving, including bid tracking and donor management.
Develop and manage a team of volunteers to support core functions.
About You
You're an experienced operations professional with a strong commitment to
social justice and LGBTQ+ inclusion
.
Essential:
Experience in operational management within a charity, voluntary, or social enterprise.
Strong financial management and governance experience.
Experience supporting or managing fundraising operations.
Excellent organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Commitment to inclusive, intersectional working and LGBTQ+ communities.
Desirable:
Experience in a small or growing organisation.
Knowledge of issues affecting LGBTQ+ communities.
Experience managing digital systems or CRMs.
