We are seeking a highly organised and versatile Head of Operations or Senior Administrative who thrives in a dynamic environment and is adept at ensuring seamless operations.
In this role, you will lead our Administrative team, supporting Ridgeway's objectives while collaborating with external partners to maintain efficient, safe and future-ready operations.
Key responsibilities include
Office & Administrative Leadership
? Oversee the administration department, ensuring compliance with standard operating procedures (SOPs), Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) obligations and company policies.
? Manage reception services and ensure the smooth daily functioning of the office.
? Facilitate clear communication among departments and external partners.
? Maintain accurate and GDPR-compliant personnel files.
? Ensure the existence of Non-Disclosure Agreements and Service Level Agreements with partners and contractors.
? Support health and safety practices, waste collection, risk assessments and audits.
? Oversee and coordinate general administrative activities, from arranging travel and taking minutes to ordering supplies and reconciling invoices.
? Collaborate with IT providers and assist staff with technical troubleshooting.
? Work with the admin team to regularly update and maintain the website and social media channels.
? Support other departments with study preparation as needed.
Facilities & Resources Management
? Lead initiatives to enhance our facilities, ensuring the workspace is equipped for the future whilst maintaining an inventory of office materials and kitchen essentials.
? Collaborate with the different functions to ensure that equipment is calibrated correctly and tracked for audit purposes.
Who we're looking for
The ideal candidate is proficient with Microsoft Office software, particularly spreadsheets, possesses a proactive and positive approach to problem solving, and excels at maintaining calm in high-pressure situations.
