Your Role - What You'll Be Doing
As
Head of PE
, you will:Lead and inspire a team of dedicated PE specialists, ensuring high standards in teaching, learning, and participation
Deliver engaging PE and Games lessons from
Year 7 to Year 11
, promoting excellence and inclusion
Drive continuous improvement in
curriculum design, pedagogy, and extracurricular sport
Oversee a rich and varied extracurricular programme -- from inter-house competitions to elite training and enrichment opportunities
Collaborate across the
Sports, Creative, and Performance Faculty
to promote physical education as a driver of confidence, teamwork, and wellbeing
You will work closely with the
Director of Sport, Director of Learning and Assistant Principal t
o enhance standards, broaden opportunity, and shape a curriculum that inspires every learner to achieve their personal best.

? Is an outstanding PE teacher with a proven record of success in raising standards and outcomes
? Brings energy, creativity, and strategic thinking to the role
? Has high expectations for themselves, their team, and every student they teach
? Is a strong communicator who can motivate others and model professional excellence
? Thrives on innovation and has the ability to design experiences that engage and inspire
? Is committed to developing a love of sport, health, and physical activity across the school
You may be an experienced Head of Department or an ambitious PE teacher ready to take the next step -- either way, we want to hear from you.
