Michael Page is exclusively recruiting a Head of People role for a South Europe and LATAM business unit for a Technology and Hospitality business.

We are seeking someone who can speak Spanish, French, Italian, and / or Portuguese.

Our customer has an exciting opportunity for a new Head of People to support a growing and developing business area that is currently undergoing a period of growth, change and transformation.

This business area has been brought into the Group through acquisition, and there is a mission to harmonise its culture, ways of workings, and realise its strategic goals to develop a more defined approach to \'performance vs wellbeing\'.

As the Head of People, you will work with divisional CEO\'s to coach, challenge and influence change and traction to the new Group three year People plan. The role will focus on the following;

As the divisional Head of People, your responsibilities will include:

  • Be prepared to challenge the status quo!
  • Develop and deliver (with prioritisation) Group mirrored three year divisional people plan. Plans will integrate, balance and prioritise the delivery of business goals / capability build, functional excellence / maturity improvements, the implementation of the core People COE, process, systems and product / tool kits, measuring and improves service levels
  • Translate the Company People Strategy at a functional level to ensure that function specific targets are met
  • Act as a point of escalation for complex employee relations issues in partnered business area(s), providing feedback to other members of the team to assist with Continuing Professional Development of other team members.
  • Work with business leaders to continually evolve their functional organisational design in line with Group organisational design principles to ensure that the organisation is fit to meet future business strategic aims.
  • Support the central development and functional implementation of strategies to support a high performance culture.
  • Enhance the use of employee relations metrics, making data and insight driven decisions based on known internal and external trends.
You will focus on projects as follows;
  • Culture: Cultural harmonisation and integration, including embedding a \'performance vs wellbeing\' culture
  • Organisational design: Target operating model review and execution
  • Talent and development: Coach and develop a leadership population
  • Engagement: Design and deliver an engagement programme that supports a significant change programmes
This role is based in the North West, with a hybrid relationship to office working - travel to the Manchester office ad-hoc, with international travel once a month.

To be considered for this Head of People role, you will have proven experience within a strategic capacity, which has supported businesses in achieving their strategic goals within a commercially driven environment.

Essential:
  • You have experience of speaking Spanish, French, Italian, or Portuguese - preferably two of the aforementioned.
  • You will have experience of working within a fast-paced business with a diverse customer group, and ideally with a strong customer-centric focus - such as FMCG, Retail, Tech & Digital, Hospitality etc.
  • You will have proven experience for strategically driving and implementing change at pace
  • Experience with partnering with a c-suite and c-1 stakeholder group
  • Experience of working within a strategic Snr HR Business Partner / Head of People / HR Director role
Desirable:
  • You will desirably have experience of international employment law

This role offers a salary of \xc2\xa380,000 to \xc2\xa390,000 (dependent on experience), plus a performance related bonus, and an suite of benefits.
