Based within 50 miles of

Manchester, Leeds, or Sheffield

Full-time, Permanent

Salary:

50,000 - 70,000 per year (Depending on experience)

Schedule:

Monday to Friday, Hybrid (1-2 days travel per week)




About the Role





We're recruiting an experienced and hands-on

Head of People & Culture

to join a well-established and fast-growing business in the

Specialist Environmental Services

sector. This is a

hybrid regional role

, supporting multiple operational teams across Northern England.



You'll work closely with senior management to deliver a high-impact people strategy, develop a high-performing culture, and lead on all aspects of HR, employee relations, and organisational change.




Key Responsibilities




Lead and deliver the company's people strategy across multiple sites Partner with regional managers to drive performance, culture, and engagement Handle complex employee relations issues and ensure legal compliance Coach and develop managers on leadership, performance, and retention Create and embed staff development and succession planning frameworks Lead on change management, restructures, and organisational development Oversee internal recruitment and long-term workforce planning Maintain and improve HR systems, data, and reporting



What We're Looking For




Proven experience in a

Senior HR Manager

,

People Partner

, or

Head of HR

role Experience in a

multi-site

, fast-paced, commercial or operational environment Strong working knowledge of

UK employment law

Excellent communication, coaching, and stakeholder management skills Ability to lead change and develop people-first initiatives independently CIPD Level 7 or equivalent experience
