Unlike traditional roles, you will not be managing internal ad accounts or writing copy. Instead, you will manage a
3+ Million annual spend
entirely through 3rd-party partners. You will be responsible for the full customer journey, ensuring a high-volume, high-quality flow of leads and appointments that align with the geographical and capacity requirements of our sales team.
Key Responsibilities
1. External Partner & Affiliate Management
Source & Onboard:
Identify and vet premium 3rd-party lead generators and
UK B2C affiliates
specializing in home improvement products.
Performance Mix:
Manage a diverse portfolio of external partners providing:
Raw Data:
High-volume form-fill data for our in-house call centre to convert.
Booked Appointments:
Confirmed appointments delivered directly into our sales diary.
Commercial Oversight:
Manage the
3M+ annual budget
, ensuring optimal allocation between partners to hit volume targets while maintaining strict cost-efficiency.
2. Customer Journey Ownership
End-to-End Oversight:
While you won't write the ads, you
will own the customer journey
. You must ensure that the messaging and landing pages used by external partners align with Spark Solar's brand and result in high-intent customers.
Compliance & Quality:
Monitor partner activity to ensure all marketing is compliant and the "Spark Solar" experience is consistent from the first click to the final sale.
3. Internal Collaboration & Demand Planning
Cross-Functional Synergy:
Work closely with the
Head of Sales
and
Head of Call Centre
to align marketing delivery with business needs.
Geographical Targeting:
Accurately direct marketing spend to specific regions where the business requires the highest volume of appointments.
Call Centre Feedback Loop:
Analyse call centre conversion data to provide feedback to external partners, ensuring lead quality is constantly optimized.
4. Reporting & Analytics
KPI Accountability:
You will be monitored against three primary metrics:
Cost Per Booking

Cost Per Appointment
, and
Cost Per Sale

Data Analysis:
Use
Excel
(and ideally
Power BI
) to provide granular reporting on lead-to-appointment and appointment-to-sale ratios.
Requirements
Experience:
7+ years in Performance Marketing with a heavy focus onB2C Affiliate Marketing and Lead Generation for home improvements (e.g., Solar, Windows, Heating).
Analytical Prowess:
Excellent
Excel skills
are essential. You must be able to manipulate large datasets to find performance trends. Experience with
Power BI
is a significant benefit.
Stakeholder Management:
You must be highly personable and an expert communicator. You will be expected to present clear written and verbal reports to the Marketing Director and collaborate effectively with other department heads.
Proven Track Record:
Demonstrable experience managing multi-million pound budgets through external agencies or affiliate networks rather than in-house execution.
