This is a new role reporting to the Head of Internal Operations. You'll lead and develop our Planning and Scheduling team, ensuring operational efficiency, scheduling accuracy, and continuous improvement, while supporting business growth and service quality.


This role is ideal for someone confident, highly organised, and with a coaching mindset, who has experience managing scheduling operations nationwide.

What you receive for joining us:

We offer a salary of

35,000 to 40,000 per annum

, depending on experience, along with a benefits package designed to support you at work and home. You'll work a 37.75-hour week and benefit from annual leave that increases by 2 days every two years of service, plus bank holidays.

Here's a look at some of the things you'll be doing:

Lead, coach, and develop Planning Coordinators responsible for nationwide engineer scheduling, providing guidance and performance support Oversee scheduling operations, ensuring engineers are deployed efficiently, supporting field-based staff where needed, and guiding the team through system changes Support the Head of Internal Operations by analysing recurring issues, identifying root causes, implementing solutions, and reviewing processes to drive efficiency Act as a company ambassador internally and externally, contributing to continuous improvement and meeting business objectives, while fully complying with Health & Safety policies

Strong leadership, managerial, and motivational skills, with proven experience building high-performing teams Clear, positive communication, even under pressure, with a proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement Tech-confident, quick to learn new systems, and highly competent with operational tools, planning platforms, or CRM systems Enthusiastic, engaged, and organised, with the ability to make a meaningful impact and support the team on-site when required
