The Royal College of General Practitioners is the largest membership organisation solely for GPs in the UK and in Europe and among the three largest ones in the world. Founded in 1952, it has over 55,000 members who are committed to improving patient care, developing their own skills and promoting general practice as a discipline. General practice is the largest branch of the medical profession. It provides some 1 million consultations for patients in the UK every working day and deals with 86% of the health problems experienced by the UK population.


This key new role is responsible for College-wide technical leadership on the development and use of our CRM system and technical ownership of the College's digital solutions and platforms.


Key responsibilities include:


Lead on the cross-departmental work within RCGP to develop a one college approach and strategy for using our digital platforms. Proactively ensure that all areas of the organisation work together in effective technology use and development, especially Salesforce and connected platforms Work with Assistant Director IT and Solutions Architect to provide technical leadership for projects & design oversight for multiple cross-departmental stakeholders within the business Co-Design and implement systems and processes that meet identified business need and deliver great user experiences for our members and stakeholders Working with other teams, stakeholders, members, developers, testers, designers and suppliers to support on ongoing roadmaps for digital platforms to integrate data processes across RCGP

Qualifications

Educated to degree level or equivalent graduate calibre and/or work experience (business/IT/membership/management) Relevant post graduate qualification and/or work experience (desirable) Evidence of continuing professional development

Experience of:

Extensive experience using Salesforce as CRM Ability to matrix manage across multiple teams Ability to work will multiple stakeholders at all levels and varying technical knowledge Deliver high quality products that meets the needs of customers
