About the role:

We are currently recruiting for an

experienced

Head Of Pre Production Assembly

to join ourgrowing team in Garforth. As part of the role you will be managing the department, working with a team of engineers to build the required sub assemblies to be delivered to the production line. As well as supporting after sales requirements.

As Head of Pre Production Assembly, it will be your job to:

Assign daily tasks to the assembly team and follow through start to finish Communicate and resolve quality issues as they arise Be responsible for reviewing and ordering stock in good time for required builds Ensure stock is correctly logged throughout the system Ensure records are kept up to date Follow established safety procedures Follow established build processes Keep to an established level of component cleanliness Maintain a good level of cleanliness within the department. Monitor and plan for production schedules Maintain realistic time management

The successful candidate will:

Confirm experience and understanding of SAGE Software and its processes - Mainly works order raising and issuing

Have computer and common software awareness including folders & filing, Excel, Outlook and Word

Have a good understanding and interest in engineering principals

Show evidence of previous production line and managerial experience

Demonstrate the ability to understand and use measuring and inspection equipment

Have a firm appreciation of stock control and the upmost importance of maintaining accurate levels

Have a keen eye for detail, cleanliness and is willing to follow an established process within a team
