Head of Pre-Sales

We do this through an API and embedded experience approach that streamlines access to our market-leading Journeys, Categorisation, Decisioning, and Analytics engines, together with Payments Initiation. In doing so we deliver actionable insights with reduced transaction costs, accelerated settlements, and a safer, more convenient customer experience.


We're a regulated entity offering AISP, PISP, and CISP services, trusted by leading banks, insurers, asset and wealth managers, pension companies, financial advisors, and fintechs to enhance financial outcomes for their clients.

What do we offer?





We have offices in London and Bristol together with access to co-working space across the UK. We offer the opportunity to work remotely within in the UK (role, business and client dependent) with support for your home office set-up if required. We have regular all company away days and other company, client and team meetings, your attendance at which will be mandatory.



For this particular role, the role holder will be expected to work from our brand new office in London (near Bank station) 2 - 3 days per week, or be spending time face to face with our clients 2 - 3 days per week.

Requirements



The Mission




As Head of Pre-Sales, you are both a player and a manager. You'll lead a team of talented Pre-Sales Consultants while personally driving Moneyhub's most strategic and complex deals. Your team exists to secure the technical win and build unshakable customer confidence in our solutions.


You'll work hand-in-hand with Sales, Product, and our customers' senior stakeholders to:

Solve complex business challenges De-risk technical decisions Accelerate the sales cycle



What You'll Do



As a Manager (20%)



Lead & Coach: Recruit, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of Pre-Sales Consultants. Build discovery, demo, and consultative selling excellence. Allocate Strategically: Match the right resource to the right deal to maximise win rates. Define the Playbook: Standardise discovery, workshops, demos, PoCs, and security reviews. Feedback Engine: Act as the voice of Pre-Sales into Product, ensuring client needs shape the roadmap.
Operational Excellence: Forecast hiring needs, track Pre-Sales metrics, and continuously optimise performance.

As a Player (80%)



Lead Strategic Deals: Personally engage on the largest, most complex opportunities. Co-Sell with Your Team: Join PSCs on key calls to add credibility, mentor in real time, and model best practice. Build Relationships: Establish trusted advisor status with senior technical leaders in Technology, Infosec, Architecture, and Data at our top prospects and clients.

What You Bring



Must-Haves



8+ years in a senior Pre-Sales / Solutions Consulting role, ideally quota-carrying Experience supporting complex software sales in Financial Services (Banking, Lending, Pensions) Experience mentoring or leading others Fluency in structured, value-based sales methodologies (e.g., MEDDPICC, Challenger Sale) Proven ability to manage technical evaluations (PoCs, security reviews)

Nice-to-Haves



Formal Pre-Sales team leadership experience Background in data, API, or platform-as-a-service (PaaS) solutions Familiarity with Moneyhub's competitive landscape * Existing relationships in our target accounts
