Head of Property Services

Permanent and Full time

Commencing salary 67,053.89 and rising through increments to the top of the scale 72,470.91 per annum. This post also includes an Essential Car User Allowance of 963.00 per annum. This post is currently awaiting a Pay Award which will be backdated to the start date once agreed.

Key Accountabilities

This is an essential role within the Property Services Directorate of RHL where you will work closely with the Senior Management Team to lead the operational delivery of Repairs & Maintenance, Void Management, Capital Works, Asset Investment and supply chain of materials. You will lead our in-house teams and contractors to deliver essential services for our customers throughout North East Derbyshire.

Being the expert lead in this area, working in collaboration with all areas of the business, you will ensure there is a robust strategy, effective policies, procedures & process maps. Alongside this developing and delivering a robust competency framework ensuring RHL meets all its obligations under the Regulator of Social Housings Consumer Standards [Safety & Quality]. This will be undertaken with an evidence based Golden Thread of Information through strong data, ensuring that the properties we manage are safe and decent as a result.

The role will require you to be able to plan, procure, contract manage and oversee the delivery of multi-million-pound revenue and capital workstreams within areas of responsibility demonstrating leadership in line with the organisations 'One Team' culture.
