Job Description

The role

Moredun Scientific (a commercial subsidiary of the Moredun Group) are seeking applicants for the role of Head of Quality. You will manage the Moredun Scientific Quality Assurance department and ensure that the science and quality of services are in line with regulatory guidelines and client expectations. You shall ensure company operations comply with GMP/GLP regulations, Standard Operating Procedures and relevant protocols. In addition you will manage and develop the Quality Management System to ensure GLP, GMP and GXP regulatory compliance.

Experience required

It is essential that you have:

A degree (or higher qualification) in a relevant biological science. Extensive experience in Quality Assurance Expert knowledge of GMP, GLP and VICH- GCP regulations and current trends. Good knowledge of pharmacopoeia and related guidelines for tests and studies undertaken by the company. Proven leadership and line management skills.
In addition you should have:

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. The ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with a range of people.
