Ibstock Place School is seeking to appoint a dynamic and committed

full-time Head of Rackets

to join its Physical Education Faculty.

The successful candidate will play a key role in developing and leading a comprehensive rackets programme across the Prep and Senior Schools.

The successful candidate will hold a coaching qualification in one or more racket sports: Badminton, Padel, Table Tennis, Tennis and/or Squash, and will have a track record of coaching or playing to a high standard. They will be enthusiastic, energetic, and possess strong communication skills Experience working with pupils from both Prep and Senior age groups is desirable. The role will include two full day's teaching within the Prep School. A strength in aquatics would be an advantage with potential delivery across a diverse range of sports.

Teaching staff are expected to be in School between 08:00 am to 16.00 however, hours are as required to fulfil the duties of this role, both before and after school hours.

This is a full-time, permanent contract. Ibstock operates a six-month probationary period for teaching roles.

Job start date -

1 September 2025.



Salary for this role will be competitive (depending on skills and years of experience).
