Job Description


A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join a prestigious London Independent School who are looking to appoint a Head of Regular Giving. This exciting new role is responsible for taking fundraising to a new level for the whole of the school community. With particular focus on regular giving and legacy fundraising the post holder will work closely with the Director and Associate Director of the department to roll out a new model of giving in an engaging and motivating way.

Key responsibilities include;

  • To develop an innovative regular giving and Legacy programme for the School community.
  • In conjunction with the Head of Community Engagement, to steward donor relationships in a strategic and sophisticated manner.
  • To work with the alumnae to engage them with the fundraising models being developed.
  • Support in the development of campaign copy for Capital and Bursary campaigns.
  • To contribute to prospect research generation.
  • To assist in the implementation of the General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR).
The successful candidate will have the following skills and experience;
  • Demonstrable experience working in development ideally within the school\'s sector.
  • Knowledge of the marketing skills necessary to encourage sign up and buy-in to a cross-community campaign.
  • Evident success in fundraising; and the ability to construct and roll-out successful fundraising campaigns.
  • A genuine interest in social mobility through education and the aim of achieving open access status.
  • Knowledge of working with a sophisticated database preferably Raiser\'s Edge.
