Role Overview
We are seeking a strategic and creative Head of Sales and Marketing to lead our commercial and brand growth. This role is responsible for driving occupancy, enhancing our market presence, and ensuring a seamless customer journey from enquiry to admission. You will lead a high-performing sales team and oversee all marketing initiatives to position our homes as the preferred choice for both funded and self-funded residents.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Leadership
Lead, coach, and manage the sales team to maximise both funded resident opportunities and self-funded resident acquisition.
Develop and implement a sales strategy that supports occupancy targets and revenue growth.
Build strong referral networks with local authorities, healthcare professionals, and community partners.
Marketing Strategy & Execution
Develop and maintain a high-quality website that effectively showcases the business, highlighting its strengths and differentiators compared to competitors.
Create and optimise a customer journey that maximises enquiry conversions, from initial contact through to admission.
Drive enquiries through proactive marketing efforts, including the creation of hard collateral (brochures, leaflets, signage) and digital campaigns (SEO, PPC, email marketing).
Develop a compelling social media presence that provides reassurance and peace of mind to families, showcasing the care, community, and values of the organisation.
Design and execute marketing campaigns that align with each home's unique selling points, ensuring consistent messaging and brand identity across all channels.
Systems & Tools
Develop and implement a CRM system that effectively tracks and manages enquiries, supports follow-up processes, and improves conversion rates through data-driven insights and automation.
Performance & Insight
Monitor and analyse marketing and sales performance metrics to inform strategy and improve ROI.
Stay informed on market trends, competitor activity, and sector developments to identify new opportunities.
Collaborate with operations and care teams to ensure a consistent and high-quality customer experience.
Key Skills and Experience
Proven experience in a senior sales and marketing role, ideally within the care, healthcare, or hospitality sectors.
Strong leadership and team development skills with a track record of delivering results.
Expertise in digital marketing, brand development, and customer journey optimisation.
Experience in CRM system implementation and management.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder engagement skills.
Commercially astute with a data-driven and customer-focused mindset.
