There is an exciting opportunity within children social care to join the senior management team as Head of Service for care and support. Children social care has been on an improvement journey for the past few years and following a successful inspection in June 2022, we are seeking a head of service who can support our next phase of our improvement journey.

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced professional with proven leadership qualities to be an integral member of the Senior Management Team. This post is vital in supporting the development of the service and driving the improvements.

Head of Service Care and Support has key technical responsibilities for our front door services, supporting 3 key social work teams and leading on our legal gateway.
