We are now recruiting for a Head of Shopper Strategy & Insights to join the team on a fixed term contract for 14 months. As the Head of Shopper Strategy & Insight, you will be the face of Britvic shopper excellence to influence our key partners, strengthen our credentials vs. the competition and facilitate fruitful customers relationships.

This role will unlock and embed key Shopper insights to build growth platforms influencing our brands, category and shopper plans & execution and is central to our planning and execution of commercial initiatives, therefore a cross collaborative approach is key with the ability to communicate across several teams including commercial functions, marketing, category strategy, insights, commercial operations and sales teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Britvic Shopper Strategy and identify growth opportunity to influence our plans and execution (Brand, Category & Shopper) internally and externally.
  • Custodian of shopper & guest path to purchase, extracting the relevant insight-led strategy to unlock key touchpoints instore, in outlet and online
  • Bring to life Shopper Profiles to unlock the right shopping mission, channel and customer with relevant targets.
  • Build Britvic long term vision to create a more creative & enjoyable shopper experience by mission or category, resulting in loyalty and equity for our brands, in partnership with Category Strategy.
  • Develop Britvic Shopper expertise through Shopper WOWs Me platform.
  • Leverage macro-trend and government initiatives such as Sustainability, Health & Wellbeing, DRS for Britvic benefit, with visibility of impact on Shopper behaviours, Britvic response and recommended actions.
  • Inform Point of Purchase principles and Best in Class Fixturisation, to be cascaded and embedded cross-functionally as part of yearly AOP.
  • Build Britvic Shopper understanding and capability through the Sales toolkit with the right tools, contents and RTS.
  • Evaluate the impact of our Shopper strategic initiatives and share insights for best practices and learning.
  • Build key Shopper Marketing Portfolio Platforms that leverage the strength of Britvic\'s portfolio of brands.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience Required:
  • Robust expertise in a Shopper or Category role, ie. Shopper Insight, Shopper Marketing, Category Strategy, Category Development.
  • Good balance of strategic thinking and execution planning.
  • Strong interpersonal and influencing skills and ability to build strong internal relationships and customer relationships to influence, challenge and deliver.
  • Strong story-telling capability.
  • Experience of working with multiple customers, multi-channels, in a consumer-led organisation.
  • Meticulous project management capability and commercial grounding.
