We're now looking for a dynamic and compassionate Head of Service - Targeted Support to join our Senior Management Team. This is a key leadership role, responsible for the operational management and growth of our targeted support offer -- working with children, young people, and families affected by adverse or challenging life experiences.

The Role



One-to-one and group support for care-experienced children and young people Family support and Non-Violent Resistance (NVR) programmes for parents Opportunities for young people to build social and emotional capabilities, make positive life choices, and develop confidence for the future
You'll lead and inspire delivery teams to provide high-quality, trauma-informed support -- ensuring exceptional outcomes for the young people and families we work with. You'll also play a key role in developing partnerships, promoting our services externally, and shaping the growth of our targeted support work.

About you



Experience in managing and motivating teams within children's, youth, or family services A strong understanding of the diverse needs of socially excluded and vulnerable young people Commitment to trauma-informed and strengths-based practice The drive to innovate, collaborate, and grow impactful services

Contract Type

: While this post is initially to cover maternity leave for 18 months, we are growing - and we hope to make this role permanent as part of our long-term strategy.

Hours:

Full time, 37.50 hours per week (other, more flexible hours would be considered)

Director of Services
