The opportunity




We're looking for a

Head of Transactional Accounting

to lead our end-to-end transactional finance operations, spanning Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Credit Control and Billing Operations.


This is a high-impact leadership role, responsible for driving operational excellence, customer experience, cash performance and transformation across a large, multi-site team. You'll also play a key role in integrating newly acquired businesses and embedding automation and AI into core finance processes.

What you'll be responsible for



Leading large transactional finance teams across multiple locations Improving customer ordering, invoicing and payment journeys Driving effective credit control and cash collection performance Owning transactional finance integration for acquisitions Partnering on finance systems transformation initiatives Implementing process standardisation, automation and AI Overseeing AP operations, controls and KPIs Ensuring strong KYC and governance frameworks

What you'll bring



Significant experience leading transactional finance functions Strong people leadership skills across large teams Proven track record of process improvement and transformation Experience with systems change and business integration Ability to operate at pace in a complex, growing organisation Degree qualified; accounting qualification (ACA / ACCA / CIMA) preferred
