We are recruiting for a Head of Warehouse and Logistics who will be responsible for providing operational support and guidance to ensure maximum productivity globally.
You will play a pivotal role in managing inventory, optimising logistics processes, ensuring timely shipments, developing a sustainable logistics framework and maintaining a safe and organised work environment. This position requires strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask effectively.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and provide leadership and guidance to the existing Warehouse team, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Implement global control of our logistics between subsidiaries and helping support and guide the subsidiaries too.
- Analyse warehouse and logistics operations to identify inefficiencies and implement process improvements.
- Improve our UK shipments for both new products and repairs.
- Review existing storage locations for existing and new products, ensuring goods are stored safely.
- Work collaboratively to improve international incoming goods shipments.
- Reduce the cost of logistics.
- Work with sales and operations to review stock in the subsidiaries and move when required.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment in compliance with health and safety regulations.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Demonstrable previous experience within a Senior Warehouse Management / Logistics role.
- Previous experience working within a global role, liaising with subsidiaries.
- Experience in creating sustainable principles with Freight & Packaging providers to deliver on the myenergi sustainable business objectives
- Introduced or extensive knowledge of warehouse management systems
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations related to warehouse operations to ensure a safe work environment and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Professional standard of conduct, demonstrating confidential, ethical, and trustworthy behaviour.
- Strong leadership skills, self-motivated with ability to motivate others.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; communicate with technical and nontechnical colleagues.
- Articulate ideas and positively influence peers and direct reports.
