As Head of Warehousing for our Northern Europe region, you'll be directly responsible for Warehouse Operations at our GB Warehouse in Carrington and our Arlov Warehouse in Sweden, whilst also overseeing 3PL management across the entire Northern European region.

WHAT DOES THE ROLE INVOLVE?


Lead with Impact

: Oversee all warehouse activities, including third-party logistics (3PLs), ensuring high-quality service and efficiency.

Drive Efficiencies

: Implement innovative strategies to reduce warehousing costs while boosting productivity, championing continuous improvement initiatives and process optimisation

Set Strategic Goals

: Define and achieve tactical and operational targets in alignment with global objectives.

Collaborate Globally

: Partner with global teams to identify the best external partners and implement win-win solutions. Represent the region in global logistics project business community (Glomex) meetings

Develop a high-performing team:

Build an engaged and high-performing team, with strong and sustainable succession plans for the future. You'll create an engaging atmosphere where success is recognised and celebrated.

Share Knowledge

: Conduct regular training sessions and share best practices to foster a culture of excellence.

Promote Sustainability

: Minimize environmental impact and manage energy efficiently in our warehouse operations.

Track Performance

: Monitor and report key performance indicators (KPIs) to top management.

Tailor Customer Solutions

: Develop customized solutions to meet specific customer needs.

Our Regional Head Office is based at Circle Square in Central Manchester, where we are located a short walk from Oxford Rd train station and St Peter's Square tram stop. Please note this role will be based on-site from our Carrington Warehouse
WHAT YOU NEED IS:


Technical/Business University degree (Masters preferred) Proven experience in warehousing and distribution, including significant time spent in warehouse management Extensive leadership experience with proven examples of developing others Expertise in productivity/process improvement projects - experience of Lean advantageous Excellent communication, negotiation and analytical skills Ability to travel across the region, with international mobility for future career development a must
