We are seeking a passionate and skilled Pastry Chef to join our dynamic culinary team. Duties
Prepare and bake a variety of pastries, desserts, and baked goods according to established recipes and standards
Assist in the development of new pastry recipes and menu items
Ensure all food safety and hygiene standards are strictly adhered to during food preparation and handling
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the pastry section and kitchen equipment
Monitor ingredient stock levels and place orders as necessary to ensure smooth operations
Collaborate with the kitchen team to deliver exceptional dining experiences for our guests
Assist with general food preparation tasks as required, supporting the overall kitchen operations
Experience
Proven experience in food production, particularly in baking or pastry arts
Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in a professional kitchen environment
Previous experience working in a restaurant or hospitality setting is highly desirable
Familiarity with culinary techniques related to baking, cooking, and food preparation
Experience with kitchen equipment used for baking and pastry making is preferred
